June was packed with exciting events and we had a great time exhibiting at ADH annual meeting in Göttingen as well as IFPA conference in Stockholm.
The 31st annual meeting of the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dermatologische Histologie" (ADH) took place under the motto future perspectives of dermatopathology including the requirements for molecular dermatopathology. We took the opportunity to celebrate the official product launch of the PsorX®-LabDisk after the successful customer pilot phase (click here to read the press release) and we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback! Furthermore, we presented Dermagnostix in the session "New innovations: From university to start-up" and were able to share our journey with the audience.
End of June our team travelled to Stockholm to attend IFPA conference – the 7th World Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis Conference. The focus of the conference is to improve the lives of patients living with psoriatic disease by sharing significant achievements in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. We had many insightful conversations with the participants. Especially the feedback from the dermatologists at the conference was clear: The test needs to be introduced into dermatologists' practices for use at the point of care. How good that work on it is already in full swing in the Dermagnostix R&D team! This feedback once again reinforces our belief in the urgent need for molecular diagnostics for inflammatory skin diseases - both for dermatologists and pathologists.
