We’re looking for an IT generalist who will manage and further develop our cloud-based IT infrastructure and, together with our business units and external partners, ensure smooth and secure IT operations. You can expect a wide variety of tasks—ranging from Microsoft 365 and IT security to helping shape our ISO 27001 certification and future C5 audit.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will continuously maintain and further develop our modern, cloud-based IT infrastructure.
  • Administering our Microsoft 365 environment and other cloud applications is just as much a part of your responsibilities as ensuring secure and stable operations.
  • You will reliably manage our network and IT infrastructure—from firewalls and switches to Wi-Fi, end devices, and other hardware—and further develop it as needed.
  • You will actively participate in the establishment and further development of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and help shape the ISO 27001 certification process—with the prospect of obtaining a C5 certification in the future.
  • You will continuously refine our IT processes, documentation, and security standards.
  • As the primary point of contact, you will support our employees with IT issues by providing practical solutions in their day-to-day work.
  • Together with external IT service providers, you will ensure smooth IT operations and coordinate their services.
  • You will assist with the execution and documentation of software validations in the regulated medical technology environment.
  • You will set up workstations, laptops, smartphones, and user accounts and manage them throughout their entire lifecycle.

Your Profile

  • A completed vocational training program or degree in IT, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in administering modern Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network and IT infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and endpoint management).
  • Experience in IT security, information security management, or compliance (e.g., ISO 27001 or C5), as well as a passion for pragmatically integrating security and compliance requirements into day-to-day business operations.
  • Knowledge of software validation or regulated environments is a plus but not a requirement.
  • A structured and self-directed work style, as well as a passion for developing sustainable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Very good German language skills and good English language skills.
